It is very long, I am 5'6'' and got the large and it is about 6 inches too long for me....I have no idea about the length of the Small size...but it is not very flattering. And as far as length you can always cut it off and hem it, or pull it up higher and pull the drawstring and tie it up higher on your frame. It is comfortable for around the house or on the beach, but doesn't do anything for your figure and is just kind of blah.....

I typically where a size 22 and fit the XXL-20 perfectly. Its not to big or too tight. So maybe they run a bit big considering it is meant to be a slouchy type dress. If you want it to not be so slouchy then buy a size smaller.

I was so excited about this dress but it was HUGE. I know it is supposed to hang but I would definitely get a size or maybe even two smaller. I am 5'8", 140lbs and a 34F and the small was huge. Not sure if it is just made inconsistently or if all the smalls were all that big.

It's true to size. There's a drawstring tie at the waist and it flows from there. So the dress will suit a variety of shapes. Top fits like a loose tank. I'm a 36D and the medium is comfy for me. It accommodates hips well too. And because the drawstring at the waist gathers the fabric a little, you can adjust the folds to fall however you wish. Very easy and forgiving dress.

size down. I'm 5'4 129 typically wear S/M, size 4 pants, small on top, and a bit "hippy", I purchased a small and it has room, I probably could've easily gotten a XS.

runs about 1 size larger, fits great once you know that. I find the fit in the bust just right, and since it has a drawstring waist, you can adjust. It is more casual than dressy, but I really like the dress and would have bought all the colors if available.

It's very light. I ordered the pink and it was thinner than I wanted, but it's a real cute dress.

Like soft jersey knit. It is stretchy, and not heavy. But they aren't see through.

This dress was extremely long. I am 5'5 3/4" and it drags on the floor when I was wearing clogs that had an inch or an inch & a half sole on them. I can wear it by pulling the draw string waist up to my bra band & pulling it tight before making a bow. The top then hangs down over the string. I figured I would hem it later if it does not become shorter when washed.

The material is light and slightly non-opaque, and the drawstring ties create fashionable shape if you're looking for a drop-waist or want to cinch it at the smallest point of your waist. This color is also a pleasant rose. Alas, I had to return it because the smallest size measures 4-6 and is too large.

A lovely maxi dress, but too large for me

The dress was perfect to size and was very comfy. The length wasn't too long once the belt was secured around the waist. Washing the dress was easy and didn't shrink much at all but drying inside out worked best to keep the belt in place through the drying process. It is certainly a great summer, easy care dress.

Cozy, easy summer dress – high fashion & quality

I ordered four of these dresses in different colors, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. After searching online from maxi dresses for Spring and Summer I was shocked that plus sized dresses were priced in excess of $70 at other retailers, and the dresses I ordered from Old Navy last year, while they were very long like I prefer my maxis, the material was a bit flimsy. The Faded Glory dresses have some weight to them and are extra long as well. I'm 5'7 1/2" and the dresses cover my feet, which is what I wanted, and they're not "cheaply" made either. I am very pleased and would recommend these dresses to all my plus sized gals who love maxi dresses but don't want to pay an arm and a leg to own them!

Good dress,but not for me

Although this dress looks just like the picture, is well made and is very comfortable...it is not in the least bit flattering in any aspect. If you just want to be comfortable at a beach bar or at home it is fine, but no matter how much you dress it up it just hangs there and has no style. If you pull it up and pull the drawstring and tie it at your natural waist it is a little better, but still does not look great on any body type, even my size 2 niece and definitely not on my size 12 frame. Will just keep it to wear around the house, but never outside in public. Also it is VERY long...I am 5'6'' and it hangs about 6'' too long even tied up at the waist.

Not flattering at all...!!

Beautiful color. Great fit and style but material is too thin. I would describe it as a " burnout" material. I would not wear it out in public, but it would work great as a cover-up or lounge wear. I returned it, but if it was made in a better material I would definitely buy multiple.

the dress was HUGE. i got a small, i normally wear a size 6-8, and this dress was so big i could have made 2 maxi dresses with all the material. i ended up returning it.
